Welcome to the website of SWITCH, Girlguiding UK's Big Lottery Fund Project until June 2009.
The SWITCH project is part of Growing Guiding and is working alongside Project 50K to support the membership in developing new ways of engaging with girls and young women in their communities.
SWITCH has two aspects - SWITCH On and SWITCH Up.
SWITCH On
SWITCH On projects are being developed in the English Regions in conjunction with local guiding. New ways are being found to involve girls and young women who may not traditionally have the opportunity to take part in guiding activities.

SWITCH Up
SWITCH UP comes to an end in June 2009. Therefore we will need all applications in by 30 November 2008 and your project needs to be completed by the end of March next year. This is to allow us to award you the money, give you time to spend it and report back to us so we can evaluate your project before June 2009.
